Safe in a Crazy World

Been listening to Corrinne May's album "Safe in a Crazy World". Thanks to David for lending the CD to me... =D
Corrinne May Safe in a crazy world

Overall, it's a nice album. There are some pretty good songs in there. Although almost all the songs sounds similar, it's a nice album to be listened while you are relaxing. =D Sometime I confused which line is which song. Hahaha...

I like Angel in Disguise, Little superhero girl and The Birthday Song. Listen to the album, it's pretty nice! =D

Great Vesak Day!!!

Happy Vesak day!!! =D

Friday is Vesak day public holiday which means that we have another long weekend. =D It's a great day for me. It's a very fun day.

We catched a movie Mission Impossible: III at 1320. We supposed to meet at 1130. But I guess everybody was late and ended up we reached at almost the same time at 1200. Hohoho... Bought our tickets and went for lunch.

Went for lunch in Carl's Jr. Hohoho... They had a very big burger. Really hard to eat. My mouth is not big enough for the burger to go in. Kinda messy when eat it. =D The taste, not bad. =D And we had free flow drinks.

Mission Impossible:III, the movie was thrilling from the very start of the show, like Chimit said. The movie last for about 2 hours. You can watch it. =D

After the movie, Acong went back home because he had a flight at night to Holland. Acong, don't forget to get us something from there. =D Billy and Deb went to Plaza Sing. Left with me, Lily and Eko. So we walk2 around to look for a place to relax.

We ended up sitting in Max brenner at Esplanade. We sat there for about two hours. I had a waffle with chocolate. Wanted to try the souffle, but the waiter said that they ran out of souffle. Hmmm... The Chocolate was nice. The waffle came with banana and apple in one plate, vanilla ice cream on another plate, and melted chocolate on a cup. Kinda confused how to mix them together. Hohoho...

From there, we headed our way to Holland Village, Settler Cafe. It's a cafe that provides board games and card games. They have a lot of games that I never seen before. You need to pay for S$13.90 per person for a dinner and two hours of playing. If you are a member, can play for three hours. So, Ferry became the member so we can play for three hours. The dinner came with soup, main course, dessert and one drink. Not bad I should say. It's worth it.

Played a few games there. Played blockus, Jungle Speed, I'm the Boss, Bomb-"something". Can't remember the game's name. The most exciting was I'm the boss. We played for about one and a half hour for that game alone. Hahaha... Really fun. You should try to go there and play. But remember to book a place before you come. They almost always full house, specially during weekend. =D

Some pics of the game:

I'm the Boss, to get as much money as you can by dealing a contract and negotiating with the other players. =D

Boom "something", try to take out as many pieces as you can from the tray without toppling the tray. The tray is balanced on a ball.

Big Walk 2006

Today, I joined Newpaper Big Walk. It's organized by Newpaper. We are supposed to walk for 10km. It's separated by fun walkers and competitive walk.

I joined fun walk. I went with All Saints and SN volunteer group. =D Met at McD near Kallang MRT at 7am. We supposed to start walk from Kallang Stadium. But when we were walking there, we came across those people that had already started to walk. So we just cut through. I think we started our walk from point 2.5km. Hohoho... So total we only walked for 7.5km. =P

After finished, we went to take goodie bag. Hehehe... Since we were lazy to wait for the lucky draw (although I had a feeling that I'm gonna win car =P), we went to Old Airport Rd hawker center to eat. We walked there. My friends said that the place is near. But turned out to be quite a distance. While we were walking to the hawker center, we passed 1km point. Hahaha... So we walked for total about 9km I guess.

Old Airport Rd hawker center has quiet few good foods. While we were there, I saw few stalls with long queue. Some of them are Prawn Mee, Kway Chap and Wanton Mee. I ate the wanton mee. The queue was long but the uncle cooked very fast. =D Wanton Mee is nice. Choose the dry one, not the soup one. Dry one is better. =D Hohoho... Maybe I should come back and try the other food.
