Birthday Party!!!

Yeah!!! It’s my birthday today! Yup2… I am officially 26 now. Hahaha… Should I be happy that I become older? Or should I be sad??? Hmm… To me, it doesn’t really matter. Age is just an age. As long as I feel young, I’ll always be young. You’ll never too old to be young, I always remember that!

So today, I had the usual day at work, learnt more things and did more things today. We were more involved in plant this week. Really did more and the real stuff in plant today. =D Got to play with the equipment in plant, had tour around the QC lab. It was fun. Tiring but fun. =D

After work, I went over to my estate agent to return the inventory list to them after we checked our things in our rent place. I went there with Eileen. She asked me to help her to bring her shopping stuff today. So, after we went to the estate agent, we went to ASDA to buy some groceries and she bought three bottles of soft drink, each contains 2L. Hehehe… Then we stopped at her place to put down some of the stuff that she bought. Then she wanted to bring the soft drinks to Anngie place. On the way there, we stopped at my place to put my groceries to lighten our not-so-heavy groceries. =P

At my house, we entered the reception room and there it was, the surprise party for my birthday!!! Everybody was there. Hahaha… They sang a birthday song, I cut the cake and then we ate dinner immediately since it was late and everyone was starving. It was really surprising. I didn’t tell anyone that I am having my birthday today. I thought only few people know. Who spread the news??? Come on, somebody confess!!! Hehehe… But it’s ok. Thanks all!!!

We had fried rice by Jamie, three pans of pizza, chicken teriyaki by Charlene, cake by Elaine and Sihui, salad, honeydew, Dessert by Dawn. Hehehe… Thank you guys for the effort! It’s really great. I had great time!!! Thanks for the food as well! I won’t need to eat my boring sandwich for today. Hahaha… Should have more of this so I won’t eat junk food or microwave food all the time hor. Hehehe…

That’s my first birthday in UK. It’s a surprising-great day!!!

Thorpe Park

Yeah!!! It was super duper fun day at Thorpe Park. Thorpe Park is a Theme Park. Yup2... Hehehe... The park is nearest to the place where we stay, although it took us about one hour plus to get there. Hehehe... We took a bus from Slough bus station to Staines bus station and then from Staines, we took another bus to Thorpe Park. Hohoho...

That day, the park opened at 10am until 5pm. So we were kiasu and tried to be in front of the entrance at 10am sharp. Hahaha... So we reached there at about 10am. When we reached there, we saw a lot and lotsa people queuing in front of the entrance to get ticket and go inside. We already booked our ticket through internet. All we needed to do was to collect the ticket from the advanced ticket booth. After that, there we were, entered Thorpe Park and enjoyed ourselves in there for the rest of the day. Hahaha... It cost us £18 to get in there btw.

When we got in, we were confused on what to ride to go first. While we were deciding, we found lockers. What a convenient that they provide lockers for us to put our things. We put all our bags, everything inside there that we didn't need to bring anything around. Hehehe...

Our first ride was Stealth. It was a very fast, very high, and short ride. Hehe... The moment the ride started, they accelerated you up so very fast that you experience a high acceleration. So the first moment was very thrilling, and you went 90degree up so very high. At top, you'll slow down and then you went down that your faces can see the ground. Hahaha... Super nice ride. I think this is the best ride there.

Second, we went to Nemesis Inferno. It's roller coaster ride where your leg is hanging. =P Hehehe... This is the first time that I get on to this kind of roller coaster. It was fast, and lotsa turning, up and down. But the ride was like turning and turning in fast speed. Not so much of thrilling around. Hehehe... =P

Then we went to Slammer. It's kinda hard to describe this ride. It's a like a giant fan and we were turned 360degrees. You'll experience the feeling of seating up side down.

Another roller coaster, Colossus. It's the first roller coaster with 10 spinning they said. Hehehe... =P We had fun on this ride. It's better than the Nemesis I should say. The first part was like the Halilintar in Dunia Fantasi (Theme park in Jakarta). We needed to queue for about 50 mins for this ride though. =(

Samurai is just opposite of Colossus. My friend said that there is one like this in Singapore. Hmm... I never went to Singapore's theme park b4 though. =P The queue took us about 70 minutes. It's super long. The queue was short but it took a long time. The time for the staff there to secure the people is long. They had to do it one by one. Haiz... =( And while we were queuing, the rain started to pour. Huaa... So, there we were, queuing in the rain. The wait was really worthwhile. Samurai was awesome!!! We didn't know which way we were turning and spinning. It's unpredictable. Cool!!!

Next was Vortex! We were swing by this giant pendulum. While we were swing, the thing rotated at the bottom. Hmm... I think my explanation here is not very good. Hehehe... It's hard to describe the rides. Hohoho...

After that we went for another ride in Nemesis Inferno. After the ride, we were feeling sick. I don't know why. But it seemed that we reached our limit. =P From there, we got on to Chief Ranger's Carousel. Hehehe... It's about time to go home then. It was a great day to spend in Thorpe Park. Despite of the queue and rain, we were enjoying ourselves there. It's really nice theme park. Hohoho...
