Animal Right Activists
Today my company got a "visit" from the animal right activist. Although my company doesn’t do any animal trial, they still came and had protest. I think they didn’t know that we didn’t do any. Hmm…
Early in the morning, we had email from the management saying that our company was listed as one of the company that will be protested. The security was increase to alert stage 1. Cool hor! We got this kind of thing. =D Then in the afternoon about 3pm, I was in the office area when I heard police siren outside. Then I heard some noise outside our building. They came!!!
Then there’s another email from the management telling that the animal right activists are here! The security was increase to stage 3. The door was locked. We can’t go outside the building. Locked in our own building. Hehehe…
They came with banners, megaphone and drum. One person playing the drum just outside our door. Another person with megaphone yelling something which I couldn’t really hear. Another two person holding the banner which again I couldn’t really see what it said. =P I only saw them from window on third floor. There were some more of them outside the next building. We have two building side by side. =D They were there for about 1.5 hours. By the time I was about to leave the office, they left the place. =D
It’s really an interesting experience. This is the first time I see this kind of thing. =D Btw, the drum player was good. =D
